Q-support zou haar werkzaamheden beëindigen per 1 mei 2021. Maar eind 2019 werd door VWS
besloten om een verlenging aan de opdracht te geven. Nadien is een nieuwe visie is ontwikkeld op
de toekomst, samen met patiënten en andere stakeholders. Een visie die een afspiegeling vormt van
wat belangrijk is voor patiënten, professionals en onderzoekers. Een visie waarin ook een doorkijk is
gegeven naar een verbreding naar postinfectieuze aandoeningen.
